Application for Trading License (Trading Licenses Order No.20 of 1975)

  • Name of Company (accompanied by a Certificate of Incorporation)
  • Name & Origins of Directors
  • Location & Nature of Business (attach a valid lease agreement)
  • A Health Authority Report is required

Manufacturers Registration (Department of Customs and Excise)(470.03)(CE131)

  • Name of Company
  • Postal & Physical Address
  • Names and capacity of bond and surety signatures
  • Registration for bonded warehousing through form CE102

Result is Registration for importation of machinery duty free and raw material importation under rebate code 470.03

Income Tax Employers Registration (Income Tax Department)

  • Name of Employer
  • Date of Commencement of Operation
  • Branches and other Site Divisions
  • Number of employees whose renumeration will be tax deductable.

Result is acquisition of a Tax Number through which all tax returns shall be paid.

Wages Security (Commissioner of Labour)

  • Register with the Commissioner of Labour
  • Wage Security Deposit as prescribed

Workmen's Compensation Act of 1983

  • It is mandatory for all manufacturing operations to obtain workmen's compensation insurance cover to cater for injuries sustained during execution of normal duties.

Application for Import and Export Permit (Ministry of Finance)

  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Trading License
  • Invoice/Order for goods to be imported/exported
  • Bank Statement

Result is an import/export permit

AGOA Registration

  • Certificate of Incorporation & Trading License

Swaziland National Provident Fund (SNPF)
