The Kingdom of Eswatini (KoE) and Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) has established an export marketing assistance program to assist local export ready companies in the food and beverages sector to market their products in Taiwan and the rest of Asia markets. The aim of this program is to assist local companies to increase their agricultural exports to Taiwan by establishing marketing channels and distributors and to also expose businesses to the advanced technology made in Taiwan for farming inputs, processing and packaging.
The Taiwan International Food Show (Food Taipei) has been identified as one platform that can be used to establish buyers in Taiwan and at same time source for Taiwan’s high tech food processing and packaging technology.
About Food Taipei 2018 Known as Asia’s premier 5in1 show held in conjunction with Foodtech (Food Technology and Pharmatech (Food Processing Machinery), Taiwan Packaging, Taiwan Horeca (Hotel, Restaurants and Catering) and Hallal shows The show creates a diverse platform for establishing new buyers and sourcing for food processing machinery and equipment for packaging and catering. It attracts 523 local and 525 foreign exhibitors and over 65 000 visitors.
The Swaziland Investment promotion Authority (SIPA) is therefore inviting export ready companies in the food and beverages sector to register for selection to promote their products at this fair. The funding will cater for all stand rental fees, shipment of display samples.
