Swaziland has modern infrastructural facilities to facilitate ease in business operational activities. These include reasonably priced and reliable utilities; modern road infrastructure and railway networks; reliable haulage and courier services; and sophisticated banking and insurance facilities.

Water Utility
The Swaziland Water Services Corporation (SWSC ) provides reliable water supply to businesses and households. Water is affordable as it is one of the lowest in the region after South Africa.

Electricity Supply
The Swaziland Electricity Company (SEC) provides uninterrupted power supply for major business users and all others including household electricity needs. Theelectricity supply is linked regionally to the Electricity Supply network known as the Southern Africa Power Pool. This ensures the supply of reliable and low cost rates. The recent upgrading of the network to kv400 means that Swaziland has power supply to meet the needs of mega industries that may locate here in the near future.

Telecommunications
The Swaziland Posts and Telecommunications Corporation (SPTC ) has developed a telecommunication network that is one of the advanced in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). It has direct international dialing to more than 200 countries in the world. Network coverage has been further enhanced with the introduction of mobile telecommunications services. The country has witnessed high growth in data communication and mobile services since the internet revolution. Currently, the country has 16 Internet Service Providers linked to the outside world through the Internet Gateway launched in July 2000. The Gateway is secured via a leased line from Telkom South Africa.

Transport Infrastructure
In 1999 the Government of Swaziland launched a National Transport Policy, providing a comprehensive framework to guide the development of sustainable, efficient and effective transport sector.

 Roads
Swaziland has invested substantially in a highly sophisticated road transport network. At the end of 2003, the network had a total length of 3,500km, 60% of which is paved road. This provides for approximately 900million vehicle-km of travel each year. Efficient movement within the country, to rail depots and the Matsapha Inland Clearance Depot (Dry Port) from where goods are imported and exported, is essential for the movement of goods to neighbouring countries. 13.2.2 Rail Transport Swaziland Railway provides a vital transport link for the country’s diverse import and export commodities.
Swaziland has a 300km railway network.

 Inland Dry Port
Whilst Swaziland is a landlocked country, it is able to move imports and exports to Durban (South Africa) and Maputo  (Mozambique) within one day.In addition, Swaziland has an Inland Dry Port which allows customs clearing to be conducted at the Matsapha Industrial Estate in Swaziland.
